Name the category and intended use. Explain whether you are developing a first collection or adding to an existing range. If you have reference products, describe the specific qualities you want to discuss rather than asking for an exact copy.
Record sensory preferences
List the texture, fragrance and after-use feel you would like to evaluate. Treat these as discussion points rather than guaranteed results. Record any ingredient preferences or exclusions separately so they can be reviewed against available options.
Include the packaging context
Share your preferred container, dispensing method and pack size. Packaging choices should be reviewed together with the product. A label idea alone does not define the final pack; dimensions, decoration and artwork still need confirmation.
Keep a sample review log
Give each sample a reference and use the same questions when recording feedback. Note the sample version, what you liked and what you want to change. Confirm the next revision or selection in writing before discussing production.
